Thank you for this video. Woke up this am and this was my exact issue, I just ordered a new PSU. When you rehook it up how many plugs are there to plug back in?

I’ve repaired a couple of Blackstar HT pedals which use similar power supplies and they had the same fault, a blown mosfet. When they go, it can be quite spectacular, enough to burn up the pcb. Is there an inherent weakness in this kind of power supply?

I don't know what kind of power supply that is but if it's the same as this one they could start by using better quality capacitors. Also i think they need a mosfet that can handle more inductive kickback. I think that's what killed this one
