I couldn't make mine work for days. You helped me out with the video when tapping focusrite should light out. So I managed to crosstest what's wrong and now everything is working. :)

@Viktor Karlsson Whenever you install focusrite, it won't appear on your right bottom corner volume playback device list. I needed to plug out the hardware and plug it back. (after install) Then Microsoft recognizes it and automatically adds the new playback device to place. I've installed, uninstalled, and restarted my computer 50 plus times, but focusrite didn't appear on my list. Then once I tried plugging it out and back and realized that now the device is glowing when I hit my microphone, then realized that now I have the new playback device on list.

old video, not sure if i'll get a reply.. but i bought an XLR condenser mic & scarlet 2i2 3rd gen.. pop filters etc.. and it sounds like poop. my boom mic on my seinnheiser sounds cleaner. how do i get rid of the background noise and crisp up the audio? .. also, is there a way to plug straight into the computer without adapting to usb? .. with some kind of pci-e card? i feel like im losing tons of sound quality and i feel like the interface doesnt power my mic enough

Same issue with the Solo. I'm abt to get a higher end audio interface and use the Solo for my dj setup. It's ridiculous that I'm getting a tiny waveform and unfixable echo in a treated room using a Rode mic
