Nailed it. And to play them in their positions you sometimes have to change the system you play. Is Southgate bold enough to do that? Sven wasn’t when he had Lampard, Scholes and Gerrard. He stuck with his 4-4-2 and it just didn’t work. Great pod lads

I said it in a earlier podcast about Saka. Trippier was rubbish in the first game and Shaw is injured. Saka has played left back before and can offer something there considering Southgate doesn’t exactly have many options.

Thanks for always commenting, Trippier was awful, and made England so narrow. Saka at Lb might just make England more attacking

Foden is a system player. Pep has City so well drilled that the players don’t even have to think. In this England team he looks lost. And I don’t think it would matter where he is put. Drop him.
