Todo depende. En este caso, lo pude hacer todo en un día porque estaba caliente y no tube que regresar. La tapada cuenta mucho. Aquí no tuve que mover cosas ni tapar el piso. El tipo de textura estaba fácil de hacer también. A donde si se cobra es por hacerle color match. Eso es algo que mucha gente no sabe hacer. No le puedo decir un precio porque todo proyecto es diferente.

Lost art. Even the OG guys around us struggle to handle pigmented color coats. I cannot believe how close you get without weighing and measuring. I have been trying to get some guys to do fog for a long time and they are just stumped. I am about to do a whole house done in Western. How long after you make the fog coat can you keep it in the container (Air Sealed) before spraying it?

It is becoming a lost art I agree. The small group of guys that taught me are still around, but they’re getting older and retiring soon. Many years of patience and experience has made this like second nature to me. That all it is though. Patience and experience. Honestly, once you start mixing it starts to dry. Leaving it sealed at the end of a work day might be workable for the next day. It gets a little hard overnight, but it can be mixed and use early in the morning. I’ve done it before, but only for small repairs. Best of luck with your project.

I’ve owned my home for twenty years. Just finished fog coating my entire house again for the second time. I’ve redone with the same original white color. Costs me about 100 bucks mostly in tape. House comes out brand new looking 👍🏽

Hey Stephen. I personally don’t since I stay in the IE. You can try looking for plasterers around your area online. However, a license plasterer doesn’t guarantees you that they know how to match colors so make sure to ask before moving forward. Best of luck and I’m sure you’ll find a great worker that knows what he’s doing.

Online. It’s an Chaplin international 1949 to be exact. It’s a bit customize so it’ll look different stock. Unfortunately or fortunately, I stopped doing stucco a bit ago. Thanks for watching and good luck with your project.

Tenga un color chart como el que tengo al principio del video. Raspe poquito de stucco y déjelo caer al color chart. De ahí, escoja cuál es el color más cercano al color del stucco. Una bolsa de stucco es equivalente a una bolsa de coló entonces si usa media bolsa de stucco, va a usar media bolsa de color. A lo que voy es que depende el parche que tenga va a depender de cuánto color use. Puede usar diferentes colores y también usar diferentes marcas también.

@@boquence1010solo tradicional. El acrílico es una mezcla de stucco y GLUE. Que yo sepa, solo puede ser fogged paredes con stucco. Hice parches hace muchos tiempo con acrílico pero los pintaron. No se si hoy en día haga una mejor manera para hacerlo.

Nice job sir. Looks great. What do you use to patch the stucco cracks prior to fog coating? I have some hairline cracks, do I need to even patch those or will fog coating take care of it? Thank you

Thanks. I used an acrylic cement. Each company has their own version. (Omega-foam tech, LaHabra-poly bond and Merlex-poly prep.) Fog with definitely not cover any hair line cracks. I wouldn’t stress on hairline cracks, but it’s your house and I would understand that you don’t want them. Just remember, trying to fix them might look worst at the end. I red float stucco into the cracks, blend out and paint the wall. Hand trowel for larger areas. Much more labor compared to your fog method.

⁠@@zookiniWe all have our way to do it. Cracks are prone to open faster when you patch cracks with only stucco. Then again, fixing it like I did does not guarantee that they will not re open again. Fog works when the house has the original stucco that hasn’t been painted. Once the house has been painted, fogging is no longer an option. Thanks for watching.
