My good friend Fed Ex captain 767 flies into Narita weekly from CAN but used to fly MD11s into there and he said it was challenging in crosswinds with small; rudder and the flare was tricky with the nosewheel if too early as evidenced by the crash there . he had flown with the deceased captain who was an army reservist.
