I love this little hatchet. It's just the right size and weight for my backpack. Made from one solid hunk of stainless steel, and the TPR handle allows you to use it all day with virtually no hand fatigue. Loved that it came nice and sharp right out of the box too. Thanks for your video mate.

Great review, mate! I just bought one from Amazon for just under $22 and looking forward to using it now after watching your video. Schrade products are a favorite of mine and the SCHF 9 knife combined with this hatchet should make a great bushcraft team.

You can tell by the design of the head that this is indeed designed to be a great splitter. Sort of like a wedge with a great edge. Thanks mate! Stay well!

I've seen several reviews for the SCAXE10 and then bought one for my son who camps when he can. I think his main camp blade was a machete, maybe the hatchet will be good for him too. Just want to say it's good to see a reviewer who can aim a hatchet so well as you did in this video. I see lots of bad hacking then they give a good rating, makes me wonder just how bad things are for them when they have a less functional tool.

@fog360 I just saw another review where someone was saying the edge was bad, couldn't keep it sharp, bad handle, bad sheath, but ok for the money. In the video, he never used it, and it looked brand new. I told him I've been using it heavily for 2 years, and I've sharpened it once lol. Cut 2 trees down a foot thick, edge was unaffected as was my hand. What more could someone want from a 2 pound hatchet at 25-40 dollars lololol.

@fog360 So thanks for demonstrating instead of just talking lol.

@@MrLoobu I used mine a lot , to be honest I use all different axes , some a lot more expensive and I am forever sharping them , this one is cheap does hold an edge and I did use it a lot , I give it to a friend who works in forestry and yes he still wearing it on his belt
