The only way to do Fogo is buffet style. Nobody goes to Fogo to order a la carte lol when you do the buffet you use the cards on the table and flip them when you’re ready for different meats. They also give you the selection of how well you want your meat when you do buffet style you are able to choose between the different cuts of meat they have. Youre also supposed to dip the steak in their chimchurri sauce. You just didn’t do it right lol

I was just stating it may have been more lucrative for her to do the buffet style so she could’ve tried different options if she didn’t like one specific type of meat. Best way to eat at a Brazilian steakhouse is the all you can eat lol keep it small on the sides and load up on the best cuts aka Picanha, Shortrib, Lamb and Filet. I made the same mistake of ordering a steak the first time going, never again. I prefer Texas de Brazil over Fogo.

The utensils in restaurants have spots because the commercial dishwashers don’t have a rinsing agent, which usually turns people off of using them. I usually request a glass of hot water to sterilize my silverware. IJS

The New York Fogo is fire! Their all you can eat buffet is bomb. The one where they bring out the different cuts of meats. Cost about $100 per person. Also you don’t order Tomahawk steaks from a Brazilian steakhouse. Their speciality is picanha steaks. That’s what I usually order if I get al a carte. I can’t speak for the dmv location. Maybe it’s an issue at that particular spot. I just know here in NYC that food is amazing! I also don’t take kids as the atmosphere is designed more for date night or gathering. I suggest trying Fogo in a large city like NYC or LA.

Awww I love Fogo but normally when I go I do the full experience buffet style. They will bring you a different selection of meats from different kinds of steak, brisket, lamb chops, chicken, etc. That way you can figure out what you like and what you don't like and always get the chimichurri.

Fogo is good, so is Samba. Ive had the all you can eat at both places.. the meat was endless for the most part and salad bar was decent.
