Foil Drive | Choosing the Correct Motor Cable Length

Cole explains that shorter cords, like the 6-inch and 8-inch, are more efficient and suited for expert riders who need maximum efficiency and minimal interference from the foil drive while riding waves. However, these shorter lengths require better mass control to keep the foil drive submerged.
On the other hand, the 23-inch and 27-inch cords are recommended for those new to foiling or primarily interested in efoiling. Riders should ensure their mast can accommodate the length of these cords, particularly the 27-inch, to avoid extending past the fuselage of the foil.

Or maybe, just do the 10 inch and place it in the 8 inch position with the excess bowed out or looped once? I say that since with the FD Assist + we have to deal with excess cable length at times.

Totally, 10inch gives you the option to suck it up high in the 6-8 inch location.

I haven't got in the water with my equipment yet but I've reverse engineered and produced about 10 kits so far with carbon. I'm curious about how much money the foil drive battery and prop clamp cost and if there is any price drop for quantity. I think there may be a market for rentals and subsequent sales in my area... Thanks ~
