Cheers Guy, yep stacked it plenty of times 😀 I remember watching you pump miles out to a bump and showing what’s possible in foiling 🤯

I’ve always wanted to make a how to foil video because there really was none. But this is by fae the best and one of the few covering the subject. I definitely wanna make one covering easily overlooked basics: leash length, board choice, foil size/shape, how do you get in/out of the water.

Congratulations! This is the best How to Foil Surf video I've seen.

Excellent video! Really formative. Do you mind asking what board size to use for a 70kg beginer but intermediate wing foiler? Thanks
@110SurfingTechniques12 күн бұрын
Thanks for that, stoked you liked the video. Have you prone foiled your wing board? That’s a good place to start for your first few prone sessions. My foil board is 5L more than my normal surfboard.
@lewiss66Күн бұрын
@@110SurfingTechniques1 I tryed to freefly but not prone my boards: I've got a skybrid and a hipe diamond, all are 85L ! Recently I got me a gong lemon 35L . Haven't tested it yet. I'm afraid 35liters will be not enough ...
@110SurfingTechniques1Күн бұрын
Only one way to find out 😃 35L for your weight seems ok, especially if your paddling n pop up is ok 👍🏼

I've been trying all day for the 5th or 6th time. it's SOOOO hard! i have got on a few times but only for milliseconds. it's also really scary, because the foil and master has really sharp edges and is heavey and shoots up when you fall backwards (every time). it looks so magnificent, so graceful, but boy is it hard to learn...

Do longer legs help in pumping for generating speed? I'm 6'5 tall surfer planning to learn foiling

Go for it, plenty of tall foilers that rip 🤙🏼🤙🏼
