Thanks for this video of one of my favourite ww2 aircraft. Always love your videos and usually watch then more than once. Also many thanks for making the video after my suggestion 😇 When you need another suggestion, the Fokker D21 and/or T5 could possibly be great subjects for a future video? 😊 Being Dutch myself, Dutch aircraft have my interest.

D21 is one of the most underated ww2 fighters . suprisingly succesfull and lasting well after ww2 had ended .

Ah the Fokker G1 Reaper . ( lawn mower) Huge history behind it and further development that never came to fruition due to war. As Fokker G2 would have been a full metal airframe and have much more powerfull german BMW or DB engines , british Merlin engines or french Gnome Rhone engines . And A G3 version with taurus engines . All build to operate in the dutch indies , as the G1 manufacturing method would proof a maintenance horror and climate would destroy the glue and wood used . Great aircraft tons of potential .

Just imagine if the engines and G2 modification would have come to fruition . full metal construction and more power full engines . ( see description Fokker G2 fokker G3 modification plans for the far east ) . Its kind of funny as at the time most fighters where build as racing planes and fokker build deficated combat planes with room for upgrades and improvements .
