I was just about to comment the same thing. It's an obvious error, not sure how it wasn't picked up. I mean, surely 75 or 80g of folate would be toxic

You said a few things wrong: You said folic acid comes from vegetables and lentils. Folate comes from natural food sources, Folic Acid is in fortified (added in) foods like cereal. You also told us the amount in grams when you should've said mcg's. They're very different measurements.

How is the MTHFR mutation managed? Can people with this mutation methylate Folate from things like leafy greens or lentil or should they avoid these foods?

Great video. I have just been diagnosed with B9 defiency. I have been suffering with peripheral nerve pain in my face and limbs and l did suffer with headaches for a month.B12 blood test were fine but B9 was low so my GP has put me on 5mg of for folic acid for 3 months.I have read some articles that the symptoms of B12 and B9 can overlap one another.

be sure its methyl folate and not folic acid. some people have a gene where folic acid doesnt absorb. the methyl folate will.

@jbeauty4150 I think folic acid is much better. No side affects and is better absorbed. It is added to a lot of bread and cereal so it must be good.

@@pavelkareski8036 Hi, have you finished the folic acid tablets now? And I finished mine a few weeks ago then started to feel symptoms coming back too! So I started taking B12 and I am so far feeling a lot better again. Get your B12 checked because apparently your B12 levels can go down once you start treating a folate deficiency. It may be that what's causing your symptoms 🙂

@@lubbieloo122 So what you're saying is that folic acid helped correct the deficiency but created another b12 deficiency ? Can you tell me how much b12 you started taking, thanks !

Back in fall of 2020 I started to have weird symptoms; first physical and then neurological and mental symptoms. Doctors said it's just anxiety and etc, but I know myself and I wasn't convinced of their opinion. In july this year, I had extensive bloodwork done and found out I have severe folate deficiency (3,6 nmol/l). Since then I've used folic acid (400 mikrograms) and symptoms haven't yet disappeared. Since I've been folate deficient for few years, will there be long term effects/damage because of it?
