Just a note I forgot to mention: The Leatherman Raptor shears I am using here are almost 10 years old, and have been pretty heavily used by myself and by my wife for work in multiple healthcare settings, including traveling overseas. They have never been sharpened, just cleaned as needed. The SOG Parashears are brand new, and I got them about 2 months before recording this. They have had only light use prior to recording this video.

Thank you very much for your review! In a few months I will graduate as a bachelor of nursing. I often go off-road riding and have needed to give first aid care multiple times. Therefore I'm making a small first aid kit which is lightweight, small and usable in most scenario's. I first wanted to buy the SOG. But after seeing your review I'm deffinately going for the Leatherman! Thank you for making me aware of how to spend my money best!

A few days ago buyed the SOG Parashears on Amazon - a belt cutter is more sharp. I think they started make it's better (or it's randomly for party/sample)

Got the Leatherman, some really heavy duty shears. So far haven't used them which is good I guess. Considering they're part of my IFAK.

I think the Leatherman is by far the better tool.

Disappointed!!! (read as being said by Hercules (Keven Sorbo ))... well so much for the raptors having competition.
