I got a Cameo from Foley a few years ago and I asked for something that was not asked for at the time, a 3 faces of Foley persona birthday shout out, and HE NAILED IT! This man's personality is a treasure.

My cousins and I would do buried alive matches in his room as kids. In order to win, you had to cover your opponent with not just 1, but 2 blankets. Lol.

My first date at a skating rink was the date of the buried alive match.. So I'm sorry to Mick and 'taker that I was unable to watch this live. But my dad picked me up from the skating rink and told me he recorded it on vhs & so I got to watch it within an hour of my first kiss! So I will always have a special place in my heart for this show.

Look into his time in Japan. His king of the death match runs were the whole reason he is known as a hardcore legend. Him coming to the ring holding on to his hardcore cross will forever be in my memory.

I'm a day late but there's not much better than Saturday morning, a cup of strong coffee, a nice bowl of some Pink God weed, and Mick Foley talking about coming out of someone's grave and casket fitting lol "1991, we saw you in a Chamber Of Horrors match, no one had ever seen one of those" And thank God we never saw another one! Mick (about the fake Razor and Diesel): "It's kind of an insult to the guys... To think you could just throw in a replacement and fans would be fooled." Kind of an insult? Its a direct slap in the face of Hall and Nash if you ask me.

I never did understand why they had Shawn defend the title in a dark match, against Goldust who had already challenged for the IC title earlier in the show. Just one of those weird approaches they had with trying to incorporate more ppvs during a time they were losing money. I mean, did 2 heels need to go 15 minutes (Austin v. Hunter)? Why didn't Shawn defend it against one of them?

Just had a thought after seeing the urn behind the Zoa can. After Paul screwed Taker and left with Mankind and the urn, I don’t remember Taker getting it back until 2004 WM20. In kayfabe, did Mankind just have it for 8 years and decide to give it back to Taker post-retirement?

59:23 I'm of 2 minds regarding the nWo going into the HOF. There absolutely are a TON of pro wrestlers that deserve to be in the hall, who could've easily gone in under the nWo banner: Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase, Lex Luger, Rick Rude (who should've gone in as an original member of DX 🤬) just to name a few... BUT that being said, as Mick pointed out, that shouldn't also mean having to let in your Virgils, your Horace Hogans etc

I don't know how many times I've watched In your House - Buried alive. and was just mercerized. You were truly hard core with the promos leading up to this match. I've seen your promos where you're clutching a steel chair as mankind and rocking back and forth with a very pleased and content look on your face. This also just mercerized me as well. I don't know if you are following Smack Down but live Morgans character has under gone a change a metamorphosis if you will much like you did. in the lead up to her match with Rousie, she went hard core several times and last night, at the end of her match she attacks her opponent with multiple steel chairs and the last imatge of her in the ring was her siting there rocking back and forth like you used to do as the mankind character. personally, I thought it was great and I think the announce team missed the chance I would have commented that she was channeling mankind or even cactus jack. Did you see that match and what are your thoughts on the WWE going back to a more rough and tumble style.

It cant be for ppl who only listened in to this episode, i mean, the vince stories, the owen stories, the taker, the owen pranks, the i havent won a match in forever, the list goes on n on. I love you mick but cmon i know you got more. -Rah T ( Li, NY) (North Babylon). Leon got the shaft in the WWE. He should have NEVER signed a contract with that company. And it's simply because of how they misused him. Coming from Japanese Puroresu which is and EXTREMELY STIFF style of pro wrestling compared to the U.S. How else was he supposed too wrestle...? Shawn Michaels was a HUGE thorn in Leon's side constantly bitching about him wrestling too stiff with him. It just wasn't a good fit at all. And it's the rare time when a wrestler got over more in WCW rather than WWE. Probably because WCW had a good working relationship with a lot of Japanese promotions. Leon was arguably one of THE BEST big man to ever grace a squared circle. Some of the boys can say what they want about him. But when it was "GO TIME" his ability inside that ring spoke VOLUMES. RIP big man.
