Of all of the interpretations of La Follea I’ve heard in the sea of KZbin, I like to think that this is the closest in the intent, sound and style of how it would have been played when Geminiani originally composed it. Grandiose and moving. Excellent 🥰.

LA FOLIA, également appelée FOLLIA en italien ou FOLIES D' ESPAGNE, est une danse apparue au XVe siècle probablement au Portugal dont le thème a servi à plus de 150 compositeurs de JEAN-BAPTISTE LULLY à SERGUEI RACHMANINOV en passant par VANGELIS PAPATHANASSIOU. NO ES una versión más de "La Follia" de Geminiani: ES ...UN REFERENTE entre los mejores grupos de cámara de Europa.- España NO ESTA SOLA...sino que está ENTRE...Lo entenderán DE UNA VEZ los españoles...y serán capaces de superar esa estupidez de complejos de discriminación y "automarginación" que les caracteriza ?
