In today’s video, I take you through a beginner follow along foam rolling routine that is perfect for the motocross athlete! Foam rolling is great for increasing circulation, reducing muscle soreness, and increasing your body’s range of motion! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a miracle cure, but if we want to be the best at what we do, we need to leave no stone unturned, doing everything we can to maximize recovery so we can continue to train as hard as possible each and every day.

Remember, this routine is a tiny snapshot from the world of foam rolling. There are several techniques that I didn’t include. This video is meant to teach you basic foam rolling skills so you can get started on your own! If you need to purchase a foam roller, you can get them from Walmart, Target, Amazon, pretty much any place that sells fitness equipment.

Kind of off topic for this video but do you have any ideas on wrist pain? I cut things like push-ups and burpees out of our routine because it makes my left left wrist hurt when my palms flat on the floor. If I stay up on my knuckles it’s doesn’t bother me. It hasn’t bothered me in a couple months so I tried to add them back in but as soon as I start to do them I noticed that pain back again.

Have you ever had anyone take a look at your wrists? Like a doctor, ortho, etc.?

@@JacobPennisiMX talked to my doctor about it but he didn’t really look in to it much just recommended and brace and that was it

Hmm... it's tough to make a recommendation without knowing what's going on with it. Have you ever broken that wrist or had any injuries to it?

@@sigmund720 I'd say we probably found the culprit... Unfortunately when it's something from a past break, there's not a whole lot you can do besides find ways to adapt your exercises. You could always go get it checked out by a wrist specialist or an ortho to confirm it. You could also try getting a wrist brace that will limit your wrist flexion!

I do it with a plastic pipe it feels a lot harder, specially on the quads, is that okay or iam overkill? BTW i never seen that rolling of the cabs

That’s totally fine! Foam rolling is all about how much discomfort you’re willing to endure so you can feel better later. The plastic pipe is hardcore, that has to hurt!
