A little confused. Row 7 said 29 single crochets but then it has additional bubbles. Was a row skipped ?

How do you keep crochet from curling

If your work is curling your tension may be too tight. If you finish the square and the corners curl a tad that’s alright since when you stitch them all together they will lay flat.
