I got into doing 30 to 45 minutes of high intensity training three days a week on top of working fu time on top of other life activities. On the days I don't go hard I decrease the intensity. At 46 my joints can only take so much. This is all on top of working out at my gym.

Yes definitely do watch the rest of the Karate kid movies they did so much good for me. I'm Teakwondo but watched it. Changed everything for me I even do bonsai trees. Helped big time in my martial arts

Sensei, actually you should be warming up the legs before stretching them. I use knees raises and squats and then I do leg raises, no more than waist height where there really is no real stretch. After they're warm, then we can safely stretch.

What would be some good stretches/workouts specifically for yoko-geri? Especially for keage, I find it a lot more difficult than kekome. Would practicing splits help stretch that specific groin area?
