Working through the first yard 7 days after 2 strip formic pro treatment. We push the bees down with a bee blower before installing queen excluders.

That blower is fantastic for making smoke. We use them in our operation

Brilliant, as usual! Would using the EZLoader help? My back is killing me right now with all the lifting.

If I was working solo I would probably try it. But these boxes are pretty light as well have been rained out of the spring flow.

@@philbeeman I used two pads with temps in the 85 f range but I had deep honey supers on and didn’t have a problem other than 1 that had an old queen

Really good idea using the blower and the vented box to get the queen down before the flow and supering up. Another very efficient and easy method I've seen on a commercial scale was to use fume boards to get the queen downstairs before slapping QE's on the single. All the best for your season!

My experience with FP is more similar to yours.

Am I understanding you only leave Formic pro on 7 days? 2 strips for 7 days?
