Follow up to the axle shortening fail

I bent the one of the axles on my dump trailer when turning it around on a logging road and running it off the turn-out into rocks. Tires wore out pretty quick. I used the excavator to bend it back straight by eye, not nearly as precise as you, and it's been fine since.

The old one was out by 3-5 degrees measured using this method and it flattened one edge of the tire. It does not take much. It always amazes me what the eye can do though. I could see a 3rd of a degree bend over 5 feet.
