Awesome. So far been successful w PT for severe spondy and degen. Hitting squats and weights a lot is still working. This is helpful to see as an eventual option if things go south. Thanks!!

Is there any ADR Surgery on the NHS or just fusions / discectomy etc. ?
@markgrimshaw64914 жыл бұрын
@@Hazed_77 Not sure about ADR on the NHS. I asked about it before my surgery and the consultant said it would not be suitable and only offered fusion. Never heard about anyone having disc replacement here in the UK, probably because of the cost to the NHS. Hope this helps, Mark

It depends if you are over 50 they will just fuse.unless you can prove weight loss or other factors that your mobility is important to you. for me I was young healthy had my mobility other then needing a new disk no other issues.am I in pain still ?yes but I'm able to move more and live life.

Linda from Byron, Ilinois. I have tried to get appointments with surgeons in my area (about 75 miles from Chicago) outside of Rockford, IL. I had back surgery in the early 90's with no problem from the laminectomy. About 5 -6 years ago my spinal cord broke in 5 places. Also my vertebrae looked like a child's drawing. Once I have my medical records sent to a different surgeon, I cannot even get a consultation. I will look on the internet again but if you know or have heard of someone in the USA who is doing this type of surgery I would appreciate the name and where the surgeon is located. I was used to riding horses everyday and for almost two years could barely walk to the bathroom. I feel like my spinal cord has somehow mended itself but I am basically bedridden most of the day. I cannot stand or walk without sitting down to give my back a break. I take a walker when I go to the doctors. Any information woukd be appreciated.

I may need two of these in my neck. I am worried about the cost as it seems like something only for the rich. Would this be a correct assumption?
