I’ve done a whole lot of stuff I didn’t enjoy or get any sort of fulfilment from, but also some stuff which I REALLY enjoyed and felt like it was what I’d been born to do. Definitely go with what your heart’s in and what enriches your life, rather than just what brings the money.

I think in some ways you're letting yourself down. Film making or creative endeavours can be and are "real jobs" for many people.

This helped me so much, I was ready to quit and give it all up. I'm gonna try even harder now. You always make me want to keep going! Thank you so much! I hope someday I get to have you on one of my songs. Also I never noticed how cool your eyes are!

I hope you will be a successful content creator. My passion is mathematics and mostly I go through the same thing of yours because people when think of mathematics they think of me being a teacher (especially because I’m a trans guy in the closet) while I want to solve problems. However, my parents and other people would see me the best being a university professor. My greatest achievement would be solving Riemann’s hypothesis but generally I want to be the first to solve hard maths things and not teach people, also but not quite. I wish I will achieve my dreams of being a mathematical superhero who can solve first the hard stuff

From my own studies of successful people which I'm applying to my own life, I've noticed one consistent pattern in people who become really successful in their goals: they have a burning desire, they don't ever compromise or sell out, and they consistently go one step beyond rejection/failure. In fact it seems that the primary difference between people who are successful and who fail is the fact that most people stop at rejection/failure, sell out, or just give up at some point and judge their dream worthless. A lot of people in our lives may encourage us to not dwell on our dreams and do something safer because they are worried and want what's best for us, but in the end, it's our own lives, and at the end of the day it comes down to how many regrets and "what-if" we're willing to live with at the end of our journeys.

Support from your friends for you pursuing your passion can help you a lot. But the problem is a lot of people have a linear view of things causing them to gain the crab bucket mentality. It's best not to surround yourself with crabs because they'll only discourage risk taking and mistakes rather than helping you in any kind of way.

It is good to follow your dreams - if you can earn a living from doing so. You have probably heard the phrase, "You cannot live on fresh air". I follow a few young youtubers, and your dilemma is identical to theirs. In every case where the subject has arisen, they have decided to devote themselves to their "online channels", rather than continue with their formal education. I am sure it is an exciting path to follow, if you can make it work. And it does look like you are doing well with it.

I still have no idea what i want to do. I've been passionate about things before and i would attempt to pursue them but i would always become distracted by other interests and completely forget about them. Because of that i still haven't found that one thing, that one goal, that one dream. I'm kind of worried that i might never find it, i know that's silly to say since I'm only 16 but it's how i feel. I'm sure i will find it one day but right now i just feel stuck 😔 Believe me, when i do find it i will pursue it like there's no tomorrow. Right now, I'm trying to focus on what I am already doing and what i have in front of me. I don't know why i get so stressed about it, i suppose it's because society puts pressure on teenagers to figure out exactly what they want to do by a certain time (usually it's by the time you're like 18) But fuck society, im just gonna do my own thing

Unfortunately my dreams of working as a x-ray tech in New York were killed by the government. Now I've my books and I'm procrastinating for sure.🤔

How did the government (which one) stop you from being a x-ray tech?
@HECTORMONTALVO-le9cn17 күн бұрын
@nexttsar it's a long story that's years. It lasted from 2012-2020. The government mistook me for somebody with my same name and ruined my life and I ended up homeless for a year. I lost my career in the medical field. I sued but the corrupt judges of Monroe County found a slick way to stop the cases so the government(which they represent) wouldn't have to face me in open court and lose royaly against me. So the government got away with 8 years of abuse and persecution. Oh by the way I'm in New York USA. Land of the free?🤔
