I genuinely have no one. Employers, “friends”, no one cares about me. I’ve finally realized this but the empty and loneliness that come with it is the most challenging part, I’ve been tested this year to really put myself first and recognize the toxic people in my life and cut them off no matter how much it hurts, it hurts more trying to be there for people who don’t care about me. Everyday is a blur and it’s the same.

Don’t seek any emotional validation from employers or you’ll end up disappointed. They are using you for work and you are using them for money. It’s a mutually agreed use of each other, that’s it. Sometimes you find coworkers that care too, but in the end it’s business first. The company isn’t going to not fire you if you stop working because they care. Would you continue working if they stopped paying you? This doesn’t need to be a bad thing. In personal relationships care for people and they will usually care back. If they don’t, you need to cut them. Seek relationships with no strings attached, friends. not at work.

I definitely went through this phase earlier in my life (early 20s). Spent 4 years in the dark. No friends, family, romance, etc. Became a truck driver who drives overnight for the past 6 years. So all that garbage is done and over with now. All I can say is that in that solitude, I literally lost my mind and became incredibly stronger going through what I was going through. But I'm back around people now, mainly my family doing my local work, and now I'm treated with the utmost respect because they know I will fold they a$$ real quick if they start getting on my nerves. Lol. However, humans will ALWAYS be flawed. Even the best of them. You have to have boundaries but you also have to have grace to allow people to be who they are, whoever that is. And then YOU decide how much you'll engage moving forward. It doesn't always have to be a full cut-off. Just make sure your self respect is apparent in everything you do.

We dated for about 8 months previously, and we were still on good terms until today. I had thought that after we broke up (which was about 1 or 2 months ago) she had found a new bf. When I asked her about it, she claimed that she was never with him and that it was just a rumor. Today I found out from a friend that she was and probably still is with him. I cut her out of my life about an hour ago. It was devastating, knowing that this person that I had put on a pedestal lied to me so easily, but it also felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I didn't lose her, she lost me. I love that from beginning of the video you start staying about the topic exactly. Exactly about the title i’ve read first. I love it.

Bruh... 7:58 that part. Seems like we went through the same shit. 2024 was a wild healing ride for me and I still have more to go, but I'm starting to see the light. Nice to know I'm not alone in that experience. You were cooking in this video.

This video was amazing bro. I started to stop letting people disrespect me and I lost a lot of people and “friends” in my life. I found my new group of people, and I met my girlfriend and she is truly amazing. Genuine love is what my heart was craving for the longest time and I learned to be patient and God willing I found her. Trust the process and stay true to your self. Love life and be thankful for every opportunity and every chance given to you. ❤

This randomly popped up on my recommended but this is what I needed so badly. I have these “friends” that will take take take and when I need something rarely I have no idea if they’ll even come through for me. Most of the time it’s a no. But when it comes to females I tend to lower my respect because I want her to like me . But the video is awesome and I’ll check out more

He started hating me ( verbal abuse - total disregard & respect) & let it go on too long bc he said he was joking - it’s NO JOKE ! He hates himself Im OUT ! Not getting treated like that anymore! Not losing my self respect😢 He brought NO VALUE to my life ! And wouldn’t take responsibility for HIS BAD BEHAVIOR! Thank you for the video

What’s so crazy is people love when I’m around they always laugh.. but deep inside I feel that my presence is not always wanted even tho they show me that it is. It’s got to the point where I make up scenarios in my head and just decide to be distant but going out and seeing people is what keeps me going. I just don’t understand.

It hurt when I had recently come to terms with the fact that I didn't have any friends in high school despite being around at least two or more people at all times. I'm now in college, I have another opportunity to make it up to myself. I don't hesitate to confront or completely drop people who so much as slightly disrespect me, even if it's a passing comment. One month into the semester and I've filtered out more than 10 people. Enough is enough. I'm over the passive aggression, envy, two-facedness, and poor communication skills from both my male and female peers. I don't expect any less from them. I expect that I act accordingly towards their behavior. I'm introverted, I don't fear being alone.

this really reached me at the right time. a few months ago i met someone and had a very intense friendship from the first moment, and i was filled with guilt, because I couldn't meet their expectations or what i thought, i had to do in order for them to like me back. then we had a misunderstanding and they started getting disrespectful. i apologized for my part and tried to find a common ground, some harmony again, but as you said, i felt like i had walk with my head down for a while, just so they would look at me again. long story, but i think, i needed to hear this, in order to allow myself to get out of this 'friendship' and surround myself with people who respect me and have my respect, who are feeling equal to me and wanting a peaceful, trusting connection.

A great way to stop this is to limit how close people get to you. Me personally I never let folks come to my house. It might sound small but I dont deal with alotta disrespect because of that...

I just don’t understand why now in the society it’s so hard to make friends or be in a relationship, in order for you to truly attract somebody’s attention you have to look good or have money and I feel like that’s BS, I miss the classic days when love was all about just flowers and candy nothing more nothing less. Socializing has gone to hell and people now normalize cutting conversations short, it’s not how it was 15 years ago when things were more exciting, everyone gets easily bored talking to you or there just lazy Asf 😔 Just speaking facts .

I agree with you but don’t give up 🫶🏽don’t lose hope. One day it will happen the friendship or the relationship or maybe both and when it does it will be good because you waited and you are looking for a genuine connection, you will meet people on the same frequency level as you. Those will be your people❤give it time

@@PoeticVirgo Thank you so much for your sweet words, I really appreciate it, you’re wonderful and same to you, I feel like now more than ever the only way to truly have good friends and a good partner is to seek the Lord and pray every day and he will give ❤️

Facts but don’t confuse conversations with connecting. Me and my ex would talk for hours about mostly stuff she liked and still end up fighting somehow. Some people only talk to trauma dump or get out of their toxic heads

I lost a friendship of 9 years due to mistakes I’ve made with her. I apologized and owned up to my mistakes, and she still thought that wasn’t enough. She’s made mistakes as well but I thought it was best not to call her out on those as I wanted to give her the space to express herself. I decided to let her go and just cherish the memories we have together.
