Arguably, the cars that saved Porsche from financial ruin. Many claim that right belongs to the Boxster.I say, there’d be no Boxster if not for the 924/944/968. I’m a proud and happy owner of a 1990 944s2 Cabriolet. I “rewarded” myself the car, the year I turned 50 AND promoted to Navy O6 Captain. I still own it….it is stored 6-8 months of the year….pristine with barely 65k on the clock. And when she is “out and about”…gets numerous compliments and comments (one college kid said “hey mister…is that the new Boxster?”). And she still brings smiles with the miles!

I share your love of these cars. My 1983 924 2L VW van engined PORSCHE 😂is my favourite car. Its smells like it did when the door was first opened by its first owner 40 years ago. It’s not an expensive car but it’s the one I love the most. I will have it to the end.
