Loved this video as always! If you're looking for another Christmassy/ fairytale-esque read, I really really recommend the Bear and the Nightingale series that I'm actually in the middle of rereading right now!

I just finished reading What the River Knows and heads up, the cliffhanger is quite frustrating. The next book isn’t coming out until November 24 😭 I’ve owned the darker shade of magic for many years now and keep saying I’m going to get to them, but for some reason keep putting it off… I need to get my book club to read them so I have an excuse 😅

@@jaimefok Yesss so far loving it though it’s a bit dark. I also read all of Caraval and OUABH series. What have you done to me 😱 😂 But seriously, I’m really glad to be back reading Fantasy. I adore Harry Potter of course.. there’s a podcast that dissects every 5 chapters of HP (Binge Mode) and I always read the books and listen before I go to universal studios 😂 (live in FL so at least yearly). It takes months but I love it!

Spoiler for None Of This Is True below . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I've read None of this is True and I wasn't a big fan of how Josie was depicted as an entirely manipulative woman (don't get me wrong she was). But she didn't manipulate her husband to fall in love with her, she literally was 15 and he was in his 40s 🤯 he groomed her. The book was still a 4 star to me 😊
