They’re literally the cutest. I absolutely love watching them. I usually hate these types of videos, because if I’m watching a video like this, I want it to be strictly to the point, and don’t want to hear people talking about other things/joking around/etc. 🤭 I found their channel originally looking for just that maybe a couple years ago. I stayed because I enjoy their personality, it’s not fake or trying too hard like other creators here. It’s kind of like art vlogging. I think both paintings are great and very unique to the two of them. I’ve never been under the impression someone should follow bob ross exactly because that was his style. Take his piece as a reference and then add yourself to it. And I think they both accomplished that.

I think it was the pigments with the sky, his were more opaque, her's were more mica. So once she got the hang of things, it all kept getting better. Evan's ocean was good until he decided to "fix" it. Having lived near the Gulf Coast for a long time, I can vouch that it looked lot like a second wave trying to over take the lead wave (happens all the time). Had he wanted to emphasize that, putting a little more foam out to the left side above the lower wave would have been better than trying to cover up what was there.

I like that you didn't hide the texture! When I was a kid my mom had this painting of a bouquet of flowers in a vase, and idk how the artist painted it, but it was textured, like you could feel the petals and whatnot. I always imagined the artist globbed paint on, yet I didn't know how they managed to get it still with the colours and shading and everything. I'd never encountered another painting like it, and it was always a special memory of mine. I'd be fascinated by the painting for hours... 😅

Idk if this would ruin the mystery but the texture was probably done with a texture paste which you put before the paint to make textured paintings it also could have just been thick bodied acrylic which can create nice texture lol

They probably did it with modeling paste, you put modeling paste on the canvas, let it dry and paint over it.

@@NyxieLove22 it cant be acrylic, acrylic is too watery to stay up in the position it was put in. if it was done with paint then it was probaly oil paint but that would mean that painting costs a LOT of money since oil paints are quite expensive

This is the first video of you guys that I've watched. Long story short, my cat got spooked from visitors and ran away for 4 days and I was watching this video that came up in my recommend page and this was the very same video I watched the night she returned.
