Padre Pio: Who Goes to Hell -- Mercy And Justice

I was a very healthy young man in the military and became ill. It’s a chronic debilitating illness with lots of pain. For many years I wondered why god had given that burden to me, and was he punishing me. I was able to complete college and become a psychiatric and mental health nurse. I married and became a father and raised my family. I’ve had the same ups and downs that we all have. Of course I oftentimes think my problems are worse but they’re not. I’m coming to the end of my time here and will soon have to face our father. I wasn’t being punished even though it seemed like it. It was a kindness, a special gift he had given me. A gift of sight and understanding that he didn’t give others. I know how it feels to be sick, to hurt, to lose the ability to do things, to be looked at differently, to be pitied, and lots of things that others have not learned to deal with. It’s a very humbling experience and enlightening. I’ve sinned more than most and violated nearly all his commandments. Now I gotta meet our father and I pray he forgives my sins but most of all my ignorance. I coulda helped more people and done more if I hadn’t wasted so much time feeling sorry for myself and questioning his plan and existence. Just felt like sharing

Pray to God yourself, God does hear your prayers. learn to meditate on God, find a, "beginner's meditation" (even on youtube, for free) and ask God which to guide you in this if this is what He is asking you to do. Be still and know that I AM God is what He tells us to do, and to love Him with all our heart. God sees the heart, don't worry. We are spiritual beings, God has not forgotten you, you are the apple of His eye, pray and ask with a sincere heart. He will answer you if you are sincere. I know this. This is such a beautiful message today. Thank you for sharing this now. There’s so much hubris and hatred these days that it’s difficult not to feel like folks deserve judgement, particularly when they are mocking the One who is the Author of Salvation beyond the Veil of this life. But I do pray for us not to be secretly gleeful when these lost souls are recipients of misfortune, because we should be praying for these folks even more. I think of the comedian who was mocking the Grace of God during the Covid pandemic and then apparently had a seizure mid sentence, how many people used that incident to mock her. It was like we were impetuous, vengeful children of wounded hearts, rather than the children of Redemption. Thank you for sharing this perspective from a loving, faithful Saint. The Roman Catholic Church like other works-righteous systems creat extra-biblical sacraments and works laying an incredibly heavy burden on the people that even they themselves cannot bear. I was Roman Catholic for 32 years before God by His Holy Spirit removed my heart of stone and replaced it with a heart of flesh. God in His mercy and love, opened my blind eyes, unstopped my deaf ears, and caused me to see His Holiness and my sin in the face of it. Then I was able to put down my rosary, and trust in sacrament and self to see Jesus Christ as the only and beautiful all sufficient Savior of my soul. This is my blessed hope and the Gospel is my motivation and power to live for Him in grateful love and obedience ever being sanctified by the Holy Spirit until I go to be with my God and Savior in Heaven. With all humility and due respect to you, The Bible says very differently. Do not trust extra-biblical sources of magistrate and tradition. Trust in the closed canon of scripture alone. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and so all are rightly cursed and condemned. But God has made a way, it’s the Gospel; the good news of Jesus Christ. No one gets in by working or sacraments or good deeds. Only by trusting in the person and merits of Christ alone in your stead. Anything else attempts to steal glory from God. We need a righteousness not our own. We need Christ’s righteousness. Please don’t trust in false saviors and hopes. Trust only in Christ.

@@michelleinchristalone2769 - So if one sins and two seconds later that person were to die before repenting, would they go to hell? Or if once truly saved can that person choose a wrong path sinning and all until his death and go to heaven? Does a child who may have committed sin and yet had not yet accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and dies unexpectedly, does he/she go to hell?

Only pray to God. The Bible says it is wicked to consult with men and women who have died and it is idolatry to trust in anyone else but the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 18:11 and more). Trust only in the person and work of Jesus Christ who kept the law in every way that Adam and we failed and then suffered and died in our place as a propitiation, taking all of the wrath and punishment we deserved, drinking every drop until there’s not one left for we who are born again in Him. And then He rose victoriously on the 3rd day having defeated sin, death, and the Devil. Once by God’s grace you trust in Jesus only, you are freed to obey not striving FOR salvation because our works in that respect are as filthy rags, but instead you obey from a grateful heart FROM a salvation, a complete justification already received. So repent of relying on self and ‘saints’ and trust in the complete sufficiency of Christ alone with a God-gifted realization that your salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, according to scripture alone, to the GLORY OF GOD alone. The man in this video never gives the Gospel of peace with God through Christ because he does not know it. The Roman Catholic Church like other works-righteous systems creat extra-biblical sacraments and works laying an incredibly heavy burden on the people that even they themselves cannot bear. Jesus says, “Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Please…I beg you: Trust in and pray to Jesus Christ and Him alone! (1Timothy2:5)

The Bible tells us to pray for one another but it does not tell us to ask one another once we’ve left this earthly tent. In fact, it expressly says not to. So yes, pray for one another but never ask those who have passed to mediate for you. There is only one mediator between God and man and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Beautiful, thank you, Padre Pio is a great teacher of the Faith. God loves us so much that even though He knew that we would sin, that we would turn away from him, He loved us into being. God is self giving and we are to be that same in the way that we love God and each other. We are to be like Jesus but to be like Jesus we need Him in our life, in our heart, in our soul. We need the salvation of Jesus to enable us to be good like Our Father in heaven is Good. All we need to do is surrender our lives to Jesus and then He will take are of everything, even when it appears evil is growing. God is all Truth, Beauty and Goodness, what more do we need? We certainly do not need the evil one who promotes Lies, Arrogance, Hatred and Malice.

Orthodox church where i belong says u need to be like jesus through His grace) to go to heaven and you can never be sure of your salvation. I m depressed. What s the point of Jesus sacrifice if i need to be perfect?? I can neverbe perfect so no point in trying

@@stefaniakonstantinidou981 If we desire to be perfect with all our heart and if we give our 'will' to Jesus, then Jesus will make us perfect in His own time and in His own ways. We are subject to concupiscence so are imperfect. Everything comes from the hand of God. When we feel guilty of sin, that is a grace and should urge us to be repentant and to desire perfection as Jesus commands us to be.
