I really like Following the White Rabbit, She's taught me to create my own sketching habit . Watching her videos more and more, has taught me to create, to imagine, to explore. Each video she posts is new and fresh, and Following the White Rabbit is simply the best! GREAT VIDEO Anne-Laure!

Thank you for sharing the delight you find in the world around you to make your wonderful art. Your joy is contagious as you teach and always makes us smile. Thank you also for the glimpses of beauty you show in your videos of your surroundings. We are learning to appreciate the everyday things around us as well. :-)

Thank you so much Mary! ☺️ 😘 Yes, I am so lucky I was raised in a creative family. My father does photography, my mother used to paint watercolor but she is mostly into artistic collages and wire, driftwood and paper sculptures these days (I will have to show you, one day! 😃). My 2 sisters are quite creative too. 😁 A few years ago, we made a family exhibit, featuring all our creations together, it was radical! 😆 ❤️

@FollowingtheWhiteRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Yeah, I had this idea the other day, as I want to try to mix my creative practices more in the videos, that the music playing or singing could be background for the sketching. 😊 I am happy you liked it! Thanks for your compliments. I am not sure what exactly means « exec celeb mr idea » though. 😅

@@FollowingtheWhiteRabbit omg. It means nothing, I meant to say "such an excellent idea". Completely messed that up! But yes! I'm a massive fan of well rounded creativity! Tap dance? You'll have to show us more little updates on that! I would be very interested to see. Also, I agree- brilliant idea to put your own singing behind it. Partially because your voice is unique to you, but also because it's so life giving to have more than one artistic pursuit. It gets to be a subtle way of including more of those things you enjoy doing!!! Yaaassss. You're legitimately my favorite channel right now. So excited for your next video! :3
@FollowingtheWhiteRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Hi Ruth! Thanks for your compliments! 😊 I am so happy you like the mixed content with several things together 😃 as I also think that my content can be richer and more interesting that way and I am too creative to do only one thing anyway. 😅 😁 😜 I will try to keep you updated for the tap dance, but I am still practicing it with the flooring on my carpet so that the noise is really soft so I am not sure it's the best way to make progress, unfortunately... 😟 It's difficult for me to work on creating defined tap sounds and sticking to the rhythm that way. But I will do my best and will try to include a bit from time to time if it seems suitable in the vid (I don't want people to have the impression that I try to show off too much with the things I do... 🤔) . See you!! 😃 😘
@MissRuthina6 жыл бұрын
@@FollowingtheWhiteRabbit I enjoy it so much because that's they way I create too. Like, when I'm sick of one thing I jump to the next and to the next. It goes around in circles. It makes everything new and different! Definitely more interesting to watch as well! You're so gifted and skilled it's so inspiring and because you present everything so well it makes it accessible for people! It's a shame there's so much tall poppy syndrome to make you feel like you have to limit the things you show of yourself in fear of being called a show off. Hopefully you can find a good balance. Everything seems to come back to that, tbh. Balance schedules, balancing mindsets, balancing a drawing composition. I could go on forever! It aloud be nice to be able to do it all, with no fear of it all toppling. What other instruments can you play? You've sung, there's the guitar- you mentioned you play piano?
@FollowingtheWhiteRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Ruth, yeah, I know we are not the only ones being that way, multi-creative persons so that's also why I want to offer this diverse content with things mixed together. So that people like us can get inspiration and feel it's ok to want to do it all and alternate passions as, as you said, when you are sick about something, you jump to the next ! A don't know about the show off, maybe that's just my lack of self confidence of fearing things that may not happen. 😅 I only have positive wonderful comments in here so probably, I don't need to worry so much. ☺️ I am thinking a ton about balance too!!! 😝 😅 Improving my work-life balance, balancing my content, handling my energy. It's all about that but that's a tricky thing!! 😁 I am also playing a bit of piano but I am not as at ease with it as with the guitar. I mostly play the chords with piano too when singing and I think I can only remember the beginning of Beethoven Letter for Elise from the music I learnt. 😅 😉
@elainemagliacane6 жыл бұрын
Wonderful tips and so inspiring. Loved the guitar music and the singing... so did adding the extra layer of flooring help your neighbors with the tapping noise? Did you ask them or did they complain about it? At least your painting, video editing and photography couldn't possibly bother anyone.
@FollowingtheWhiteRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Thank you Elaine! 😃 Eh eh, I remembered you asked about some guitar and singing so I was hoping you would appreciate it. 😉 The neighbors didn't complain because I barely practiced the tap dance with the shoes so far. I figured out by myself that it would be way too noisy so I mostly practiced it with normal shoes or lately with my tap dance shoes but on my carpet so no tap at all, so frustrating! 😬 😅 Even now, I put the flooring on my carpet so that I can hear a bit of the noise but it does almost no sound... 🙄 Yeah, indeed, with visual art, you are sure not to bother the neighbors, which is not the case with the singing and tap danse! 😅

Hi Laura! Thanks for your compliments and feedback! 😊 I use the rabbit when he can play a special role, for example in here, I used it only 1 time to be able to create a dialogue. It's rather difficult to create a dialogue with yourself if you know what I mean! 😅 Previously, I also used him when I forgot to record some info. When I record the rabbit voice, there is no need for a good light or nice setting. 😉 Plus, I also like that it can play the role of the viewer if I like, asking question and making the content more dynamic. I promise I won't overuse it, though. 😊 I am sorry you don't really like it. Just think that it's not a kind of useless thing, just meant to be funny, but part of the hopefully helpful content of the video. 😊
