Shuai Chiao influenced Jiujitsu's development and hence Judo and Aikido. Some of what I see here is what we do in our Kwoon just with a different flavor so to speak. I have a lot of respect for Aikido and all martial arts. Greetings from Austin Texas.

When i was a young man i treid a akidoka becouse i was a karate champion and i learnd the hard way . The experiance was a painfull. Since then i have alot of respect for what they do.

aikido is verry effective but it need hard work an dedecation to master this technique

Probably why its dissed so much now?.... Not exactly a role model is he now.... Aikido is effective if used in real life as I can testify to that, but I'm not in the movies and not famous, but I can fight for real.... Not many aikidoka who can really say that!!
