I am Asian who has been studying 合気道, and i do have a 🇨🇿 friend. But never would i have realized that it would be you Czech guys who actually promote 合気道 in such a beautiful and funny way😊 Good job, all the crew of this series👍🏼! May God permit we can practice together one day.

One of the best examples of what aikido can do when applied forcefully. Extremely well done. As someone who has done aikido for over ten years, its nice to see someone other than Steven Segal representing this art.

Perfekt. Tie bloky na začiatku vyzerajú síce dosť filipínsky, ale chápem že toto je jednoducho aikido. A som rád, že niekto ukázal, že Aikido nieje balet ale bojové umenie. Veľký rešpekt.

Finally aikido that doesn't look like straight up bs. I know it's choreographed but the situations that were alluded to and the techniques you chose seem logical. Aikido seems pretty hard to pull off realistically, but like judo it'll fuck someone up if it works

I find it interesting that when the guy seems to resist against Ikkyo, in the bar, the main character would not push on but switch to a technique that goes in the direction the guy wants to go. Seems like a nice illustration of Aikido's "nonresistance".

Matěj Jurčík But here’s the thing: aikido wasn’t made as a hand-to-hand combat system. It was made to disarm people with knives, swords, etc. When someone uses those, they give you the momentum need to flip them over, catch their arm and put them in a wristlock, and other aikido things. But hand-to-hand is another story. A trained fighter will hardly, if ever, give you the momentum needed to do such things. That’s why it’s seen as impractical.

Hello Guys, your video is amazing. Aïkido mouvements are clearly demonstrated. Actors are all very good. Lot of negative comments but of course it is a movie. In a real fight many other events can occur: knife, gun, etc.... But Aïkido when practised with a truth vision of kokyu (power) and integrity is a great martial art, both to elevate your mind and to help you to fight in your everyday life, not only in case of street fight. Thanks so much for this job and we all hope (aikidoka) anothers movies.

Okay, this was FREAKIN' RAD! This is one of the absolute FEW examples I have seen of actual street incidents one might run into where non-standard, perfected dojo technique do not perfectly apply, but have prepared someone for street defense. Defending true kicks, punches and tough-guy shoves and then applying a throw or takedown. THIS actually works. And the hero is wearing QuickSilver?!?! Heck yah!!!!!!
