I've been using Zbrush for almost 15 years and I only discovered this a year or two ago. Quite useful to sculpt figurines after posing them. But sometimes it doesn't work, Zbrush can't find a full symmetry. I think I found the problem, it comes from some verts getting merged together in tight areas, like the corners or the mouth, or the butt crack where they are really close, and I don't know what causes this.

It’s a great tool! There are quite a few ways to accidentally merge verts so I’m not sure what’s causing it for you. I would check the sym often to make sure it’s still good.
