I would love to see your workflow on creating armor in Zbrush. I'm currently working on a piece and my armor seems too soft and I'm trying everything to make the edges a bit sharper and defined. Anyways great stuff you're providing thanks.

Thanks Sam! I agree it can be tricky and it's something that I approach differently depending on the project. Will try and do a video about that soon!

Stager is good, but i have used it Just for Interpolate (it needs dynameshed meshes for it sure). Good function.

This video made me subscribe to your channel. Amazing explanation! Do you know if the home and final stages keep saved if we save __the project__ and then close Zbrush? It would be very fast forwarding...
@hartgameart2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It actually will save both in your project or in a .ZTL so it's definetely a good way to set up your project!

The only problem, and I'm trying to reach out pixologic team here, is that the gizmo don't memorize both position... But it got stuck with the last one. This mean that it I want to apply some gizmo changes on Home I'll lose the gizmo position on the stage, so I'll ends up spending 1-2 minute to realign the gizmo... Great tool but at this point a nanomesh solution still looks better than this Stage function (especially because it has both views on screen).

I agree it’s not perfect by any means. I agree too nanomesh is definitely going to give you a lot more control to place and edit your model as well. It’s strange I never really got into the habit of using nanomesh for this purpose even though it’s a great use for it.

hadn't seen the interpolate feature yet. Like you said basically looks like a worse version of arraymesh. But maybe time will prove wrong haha. I'm still waiting on our promised zbrush uv editor :(
@hartgameart2 жыл бұрын
Yeah just seems like a very basic way to repeat a mesh. UV editor would be amazing. I'd love to see a refresh of the retopology tools!
