What a wonderful and vivid interpretation that was done by a genius in his own right. Ken Philmore did great. It was an experience playing this piece for panorama 1990 foe Vat 19 Fonclaire and being a stage side member as well. Great !!!!.

I wonder how the JUDGES felt after the final results .... it's amazing that in the JUDGES' comments to all participating bands ... would have identified their shortfalls from preliminaries to semi-finals ...and these bands would have given it their HEARTS and SOULS .. along with tireless night's of practice... over and over again trying to get it RIGHT .. and in the case with Fonclaire who lost by 1/2 of a point .... Come on judges can you give an acceptable explanation for persons like myself who are not musically trained and literate ... that half of a point separation ..... Did you hear every Note, Chord, or phrasing at a PANORAMA FINALS PACE of over 110 bmp ... Each time I listen to this arrangement with headphones ... I keep hearing so many different musicial passages, melodies etc ... Fonclaire has never recovered from this LOSS ... WHO IS TO BE BLAMED .. the arranger, the tuner, the players or the judges

The most controversial 2nd place in Panorama history! Losing by half a point! They should have been tied for first ! No band from South Trinidad has won Panorama since Maritime Life Hatters in 1975! Tell me why?

I'll continue to say to all that bands that don't belong to port of Spain needs to come together and form their own federation. And in doing so they can keep their own competition, cause every year they keep getting Rob big time.

What utter nonsense! Ask yourself when last a southern region large band performance was impressive enough to deserve 1st place at the National Panorama Finals since Fonclaire played Pan By Storm in 1990. Notwithstanding, Skiffle who placed 2nd to a hard to beat Renegades in 2018. We all agree that Fonclaire arguably should have been Panorama Champions in 1990. However, your logic about southern bands placements is flawed. Lest we forget the dominance of Pan Elders with six (6) consecutive titles in the medium category 2014 - 2019. Bless!
