Love seeing the use of Atkinson Hyperlegible outside of its dedicated video. I use it on every piece of text I generate where accessibility is most important (geriatric patient care forms, for example).

I agree. The text looks like it's reflecting off water ripples, very clean, cool and smooth, while the outfit is more or less the polar opposite. I don't think Linus likes distressed fonts much, but maybe he could make an exception here?

loooove this video. ive followed wisdom kaye for a while and love his styling, but i so agree that the outfits are way too incredible for the cliche, overused fonts presented. love the fonts you chose and the thought you put into them! love different expertise in different kinds of arts coming together to make something truly wonderful

This is my first time watching your content, and you clearly know a lot about fonts-certainly way more than I do. However, I have to disagree. Not only do I feel like his outfits already almost perfectly encapsulate the fonts he's showing, but a lot of your recommendations seem to either not work as well or feel completely disconnected. Again, not knocking your abilities, but if I had to match each font with each of his outfits, the original fonts would have been really easy. With some of the new fonts, I would have absolutely no clue where they would match-they seemed completely disconnected from the outfits. That being said, both the Kablamo and Resistance ones were dope and definitely fit the outfits perfectly.

The original is being 'corrected' almost.... but I thought the original was awesome. Of course if you see the outfits you can find a better font to it, but the maker did the opposite; choosing a famous font and designing an outfit to it. He nailed it if you ask me.

I wonder if Nan Spaceland is going for "Compliant mechanism" idea? I bring it up because I expected some more sci-fish font and this choice didn't amaze me like for example Rubik did. Can't quite put it into words other than the Rubik really impressed me.

I think I disagree with most of these - maybe just because the font choices feel like they are mostly trying to upstage the looks, but also a little bit on the interpretation of what those fonts mean to the reader. Kablammo is a good pick for that outfit - though I think Digestive would actually work just as well, and better than for the earth tone linens - but the rest feel off, some by a little, some by a lot. Spaceland is definitely way too playful for that look. I feel like you’d see something more like Tachyon with that, or maybe Megavolt if you didn’t care about readability.

Courier is my daily correspondence font and when this compilation dropped in my feed I looked at my outfit and it was a perfect match. *[Minus the hat. I am old school, I would never wear a hat indoors. *(Protective helmets and welding masks are an exception.)]
