@@MajorCanada I would say Josh might be more technical than Dave or Taylor, he's been in so many records... Taylor was pure feel and tightness. Anyhow, I think the foo fighters torchlight is in good hands. I just wonder, what happened to Yeti (Taylor's drumtech)?

This song has a raw energy about it, one of the best off the album. I was itching to hear Freese play this thing. Holy hell, surpassed my expectations. This is legendary. Rock drummers will study this track. Also the lyrics, "I gave you my heart, but here we are". Hits anyone who has lost someone to addiction or suicide. Powerful music.

The Foo Fighters wanted this album But Here We Are in 2023 to have a Mellon collie sound just like the album: In Your Honor from 2005, especially given the grievances of Dave Grohl losing his mother Virginia Grohl and his band mate Taylor Hawkins❤🌈🙏

Josh is one of the most seasoned rock touring / session drummers out there today. Has played w/ everyone from Sting to Devo and recorded well over 100 albums (from Michael Buble to Nine Inch Nails). Natural fit for FF. I'm actually surprised he "joined" a band. He will crush with the FF. Wait and see... :)

This is a much better recording than the other one sound-quality wise, though being familiar with song now, it's a shame you can't really hear Chris's guitar which is a big part of the song.
