Any band who does their “Everlong” over 2 hours in - that’s a great band. I’m not sure anyone HAS actually done that. The energy is incredible. I’m honored to be experiencing Foo Fighters this summer🤘What a great fun holiday weekend to spend with Foo Fighters. It’s not really a holiday but close enough! It DID turn into an interweb drinking game! Colorado man here - I’m glad that you enjoy Coors Light, Dave!

Dave Grohl is great. I remember the first time that I ever saw his face. I bought Nevermind (vinyl), took the sleeve out, and there was a picture of the three guys from Nirvana, but the one who stood out was Dave, because he's the closest to the camera (actually even slightly out of focus) and smiling with that big smile of his. That's my first impression of NIrvana. Not Kurt or Krist, but Dave smiling. It's 24 years since then and he's still smiling and making great music.
@Frits19758 жыл бұрын
What I also really really like, is that they loooooooove to play music, they go for hours and hours and me (dont judge) I mostly get distracted after 5/10 minutes and go do something else. (also music related) but they just keep on jamming ;)

It's interesting that you mentioned your first memory of Nevermind. I bought it on cassette tape, and I'll never forget the smell of the insert - it had a strangely sweet smell to it. This may sound incredibly silly, but as an eleven year old, the smell of the artwork combined with the visuals made me think, "These guys are probably on drugs."

Here I am 12yrs later, just discovering this and replying to comments 8 and 9 yrs old! Lmao! I fucking love these guys! Never seen them in concert. I feel sure that I've already commented on here a few times LOL since I keep coming back to watch it, but anyway as I watch it I can't help but think about how important these guys are to me. being a foo fighters fan has affected my life in so many ways and continues to change me, that's crazy to think a band could have that effect on someone. :) I wish peace, love and happiness to all

well for me they just represent hope in a sometimes cruel and uncaring world because they are such good people and they are still here and doing what they love after so many years it just makes me happy to see them so happy and gives me hope. I'm just a happier person now because they exist :)

This is such a good view of the level of professionalism in these guys. I am just amazed at how Taylor literally has their entire catalog immediately available, his memory is just awsum! Can we get him cloned? Cause I need a drummer like that for my current project, all I seem to find is either a lagger, or a soft beat guy. A hard slam drummer with a good memory is worth his weight in GOLD!

I was l,ooking for this concert for 2 years. It used to be on here when it came out, but I couldn't find it over the last couple of years, minus a song or two. This is phoenomenal. I feel like they really took into consideration the songs people wanted to hear, and it really influenced Wasting Light, giving us that punch in the face rock, not their experimental stuff. What a great concert!

I bet you know! If your like most of us, I can sing along to almost every song I've heard more than once. From tunes my Grandparents loved, to bedtime songs my mother would sing, to everything else I love. It's the tie between your right vs left brain. I spent 14 hours yesterday singing along to my playlist, no problem I bet you can sing along to all the Foo's! How does Yo Yo Ma play all six of Bach's cello Suites in a row without any sheet music? LOVE, we all love music, the one that binds us from all cultures.
