That's all Dave grohl does is write epic anthem songs and epic anthem music , gracious melodies , he writes nothin but hits , he farms em out . That dude and his band are fuckin amazing . I went and seen them last summer in Kansas City Missouri at the sprint center on their sonic highways tour , august 21st 2015 . It was an awesome show just like every show they have done since Dave grohl created and founded the foo fighters , he is a very blessed musical genius and the the rest of the guys in the foo fighters are amazing as well , the chemistry that Dave and Taylor and cris and Nate and pat create together is brilliance at its best . 🙂

I used to hang with Gary after shows in downtown Austin at The Continental Club with a beer or two. That was way before he made it big. He and Eve Monsee who actually got him started playing guitar would play there every Wednesday. Super nice and down to earth guy.

Dave likes to tell the "story" of how Gary Clark Jr turns up for their SH's recording session ...without a guitar! Pat gives him one (which GC used in The ACL Festival) - and tells him he can keep it ! Dave gave Taylor license to not let all those guitars "drown" the drumming out. ? Everyone was awesome at this ACLTV session. Thank you for sharing:)

There you go again Putting words into my mouth This one's for you to know And for me to find out All that trouble, and you on about How you gonna know, til you hear it out loud Stop, ask myself what did I do? What did I do to deserve you? Come on, tell me now what did I do? What did I do to deserve you? I heard every word comin' from the 13th floor Your song came along And I heard the voices telling me to save yourself I'll behave yourself I stop, ask myself what did I do? What can I do to preserve you? Come on, tell me now, what can I do? What can I do to conserve you? Your name, year of fame I could see the writing on the wall Come on, flip a coin, bet it's going to tell you To save yourself, I'll behave yourself Your man, channelin', knowin' by the X on his hand You raise, runaways singin' at the gate To save yourself, I'll behave yourself So here I go again Putting words into your mouth This one's for me to know And for you to find out All that trouble and I'm on about How you gonna know, til you hear it out loud All of your heroes, where are they now? I'm lost, deliver me I crossed the river finally God as my witness Yeah it's gonna heal my soul tonight God as my witness Yeah it's gonna heal my soul tonight God as my witness Yeah it's gonna heal my soul tonight God as my witness Yeah you gonna heal my soul tonight God as my witness Yeah you gonna heal my soul tonight

Yeah I agree that cris was just kiddin around with Gary Clark jr , cris was actually complimenting Gary in a kidding around kinda way cause cris probably is inspired by Gary Clark jr and looks up to Gary's guitar playing and respects Gary as a great guitar player that he is . That's exactly what I see when I watch that video of the foo fighters doing that song with Gary Clark jr . Anyone would be ignorant if they can't see that for what it really is .
