You got some really good food. It is such a good variety and it helps so much with your grocery bills. You can cut that big candy apple with a knife and cut off ever how much you want to eat at a time. Have a blessed day

You have organic salad greens & the fish are the healthiest. Could shred the prepared cooked chicken to put atop of the salad. I'd also eat the oranges/mandarins, lemon, & mushrooms. We're in California and I've drove to a different food bank before telling them a zip code of a town there when we didn't have enough healthy food. We also get that Trident Wild Fish and canned lakeside vegetables. They. must have a contract with the USDA to supply those. Thanks for showing us your haul, I loved it!

I don't really know how this free food business works since I am not really needy, neither am I greedy enough to deliberately check out where I could get free food as one of my sisters-in-law did - who certainly did NOT need to raid a food bank ! But it seems you can find a nice variety of things that can make good meals - the fish portions was a really good help, especially for a family - that is a lot of dinners - and some fruits & veggies too - well done ! I might grumble about the price of foods these days, but I never begrudge others getting their needs met via places like this - I have never been hungry in my entire 84 years, so nothing to grumble about on my part and I do contribute a few of my SocSec$$$ to charity as I am blessed with so much !
