I think a lot of Korean shopping malls know that for a lot of people, the food is actually the most important aspect of shopping (just like Jimmy said in the beginning) and try really hard to get trendy, famous food brands to come in, so that they attract more customers! Jimmy knows - the quality at Korean mall food courts is WAY better than what you'd get in American food courts. By a long shot. Same dynamic plays out with airports and rest stops as well, generally speaking. I'll take Korea every time!

American Dream Mall has a pretty nice food court and their restaurant options are high end. So does the short Hills mall in NJ. Both are each a 15 min drive from me.

@@FlavorofMindno problem, and I’ll admit that I think Korea in general has better food courts overall but my mom wouldn’t eat in the old street markets but I loved it (we’re Korean). I do really like the Reading Terminal Market in PA too. But again, I’ll conceded that Korea has better but we might be a bit biased. 😉 (This is the same smokeking, just different account)

I am biased towards liking the restaurant scene in Philadelphia, but then again Korean food has really stolen my heart 😅 So much so that me and my partner (who's from Korea) currently make videos on the food and neighborhoods of Seoul, since we're lucky to spend a decent amount of time there. Anyhow, I guess there is good food everywhere, if we keep an open mind! 🙂
