Here is a tip, hold a piece of copper sheet over the back of the holes whilst you weld them up. The weld won't stick to it and it makes it easier to fill.

Great job! Thank you for showing a step-by-step, that's very satisfying to see. I'm thinking you could spray a clear coat on those bolts so they won't tarnish again. As for the welding, you could have welded plates on the other side to serve as a support backing for bondo applied from the front.

Darren makes great art for sure....CP looks great Jason, very good video...thanks:) Hope you do a vid of the rest of the restore! I stopped doing the sanding anymore...I got a guy a mile down the road who does all kind of media blasting.....they always come stripped very nice that way, cost 18 bucks, then just prime and paint.

And also that's reminds me. John's classic basement arcade released a video a few weeks back on a tour of free play Arcade. And near at the end of the video a friend of his is working on a multi-cade vector graphic arcade board.. It has TEMPEST BLACK WIDOW MAJOR HAVOC and a few others I can't fthink of Right off hand. But there's two really neat parts. One he got the designer of major havoc to add the missing levels including the one that lets you win the prize. When ATARI was running a contest for major havoc and if you beat the game you won the prize. And the second one is.. Somehow they got there hands on a MARBLE MADNESS 2 board.

I've seen a play through of food fight arcade game and seeing that kid eat an ice cream cone.. It's like if PAC MAN had a real face that's what it would look like. But just curious if you're going to walk around and show off your arcade games collection? And show off all the original ones and the new ones together?

i have seen people say to add a bit of blur dye or resin to sort of disguise that but i haven't tried it yet
