FOOD in ISTANBUL is the BEST (and worst) I've EVER HAD 🇹🇷

ISTANBUL, TÜRKIYE has some of the best, Must-Eat FOOD in the World. Kebab, Hummus, Gozleme, Tea, and Baklava are only scratching the surface of the sort of food you'll find at the inersection of Europe and Asia, Istanbul, Turkiye.
My experience in Istanbul was interesting, because I genuinely had a couple meals that were some of the best I've ever tasted in my life... and I also had quite a few that were disappointing. So what is Istanbul really, the home of the best food in Europe? Or... the worst?
Beyond food, Istanbul is known for having so many incredible and beautiful attractions including the Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern, just to name a couple. The sunsets will blow you away, and the city constantly will end up calling you back after you've had the chance to visit.
I know that I can do a whole lot better when it comes to finding great restaurants in one of the food capitals of the world. Surely I messed this up somehow. I did, right?

Do you cook at home ever? Are there markets you find ingredients for familiar foods to cook or are you eating out everyday? lol

😂 Very fair. Honestly not often! I cook pasta or have PB&J here and there, but the prices to eat out in most places are so reasonable (and delivery is accessible everywhere also) that I do usually either go out or order delivery
