I did, Prague is so beautiful! And thank you, it's a little hit or miss on this channel with the pronunciation, but I do know that when I get it *wrong* I WILL hear about it in the comments, so I try to make an effort 😂

I love Czechia. My sister got engaged in Prague and is getting married next month 🥳 The food is fine for me, I am not very picky. There is a Czech pub here in Poland and they serve the best onion rings ever, they marinate them in beer or something 🤤🤤🤤🤤

if you were specifically looking for ugly meals, you should have tried "cocka nakyselo" (sour(-ish) lentils) or tatarak (which is just a blob of raw meat) - both are great if made right, tho i prefer my lentils not sour

Btw. "Lokál U Bile..." is actually "Lokal u Bíle Kuželky" translated: "Lokál" means the pub, "U" is preposition at/by, "Bílé" is white, and "Kuželky" is bowling pin/skittle. And in czech "Kuželka" (the bowling-pin) is slang word for a beer bottle. So "Fetch me another bowling pin" is pretty common.

A little correction needed not Prague but Malbork castle in Poland is the largest castle complex in Europe.

I think you're right, depending on how it's worded/framed! I think Malbork is indeed the largest by land area. Prague castle is the largest individual ancient castle.

I'm a gen x Czech and i never ever saw a water more expensive, than beer in any restaurant or pub i visited. Unles you mean by water some expensive foregin mineral water or some water from tips of icebergs. And now with post covid inflation and more expensive energy beer is much more expensive than it used to be.
@Get.Lost.Travel
@Get.Lost.Travel Ай бұрын
Yeah that's pretty much what I mean. The most expensive water is more expensive than the cheapest beer. But in the US, a single beer can be 3-4 times as much as in Czechia, so that was the amazing part to me!

🏙️➕🍔➕🍺🟰☺️🇨🇿 The beer I had this week with my burger was awesome. It was more like an alcoholic apple cider. So perfect with a burger.

Ive been to Prague countless times and i even went to that place you got goulash 2 times (by accident) and with maybe 10 years apart, so i forgot. But i just have to agree with you, that goulash is very plain. Meat is probably premade, sauce is just salty, doesnt have any rich flavours. Easily one of my least favourite places for food. I can recommend Czech Slovak Restaurant in Ujezd. They are a really good place to try czech food especially their goulash. I was lucky first time i tried goulash, i got a really tasty one in a small pub in Smichov, and after that, im constantly searching for the perfect goulash 😅

Ah ok cool cool! Yeah I'd be down to try a really fantastic goulash! I mean I didn't hate it by any means, but I am curious what like a really fantastic one tastes like. Thanks so much for watching!!

bro when youve been to Czech Republic you now already know a thing or two about beer :) also svíčková recipe consists of very basic ingredients... ask your woman or your mom to cook that for you at home :)

Yes, a a born czech, i can really tell that my country of origin is not famous in terms of traditional food. Most dishes are bit plain and boring, you can definitly eat better in Poland or Hungary. Alhough i really love the Smazeni sir, you don´t get a this kind of cheese outside of CZ. Sure there are good spots with interesting and tasty foods, but you have to look for them and they probably wont come cheap. The best food i had during my last Praha stay was at a Vietnamese, enjoyed good and affordable Sushi.

That's so interesting! I didn't think to try any Vietnamese while I was there. I thought in general the like... greasy burger and cheesesteaks and fries were all amazing though, like for whatever reason in Prague they do that stuff WELL. And yeah, the Smazeyni Syr was so good. Cheese is just a slam dunk. Thank you for this!

Oh God what a miserable way to live. That's like saying trees are just for producing oxygen, not sitting under to enjoy their shade on a hot day. Or that water is just for drinking, not swimming or water parks. I'm genuinely sorry you feel that way, it must make life hard!
