The food is Bulgarian because that is what the people defined as and were predominantly before 1940s. There is nothing political about what I am saying. Facts are facts. Shopska salad for example is undisputedly Bulgarian.

The only thing North Macedonian about Tavce na Gravce is the name... which is like saying "Cakes on a Pan" instead of "Pancakes" makes it Bulgarian and not french because it is named differently! Anyway, shopska salad was invented by Balkan Tourist in Bulgaria, which is a fact...
