Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by. If you enjoyed my ramblings please like and subscribe so we can hang out again!
My family uses the food bank to help stretch our monthly food budget. After paying the bills sometimes we don't have much extra. Using the food pantry helps me be able feed my family relatively healthy. We appreciate all that we get!

If this is your first time, my name is Laura and I am always wearing my frugal pants! We are a family of 5. We have too many pets to count who often make an appearance in some way. I also cannot promise there will not be loud sounds in the background…mom life.

My 13 year old son volunteers at our local food pantry and because of that we qualify for a monthly portion, otherwise income wise we would not. So thankful for the things we receive, my son works hard for the food he brings home and it makes him so happy to know he is helping provide for his family in some way. He’s learning great work ethic and appreciation for the things we are blessed with.

They are oranges grown in fall and winter and didn't have enough sun exposure to turn orange but totally fine to eat

Hey our food rescue got those green oranges. I believe they are Valencia oranges, great for juice.

So many things to do, freeze the bread. Toast with jam. peanut butter, etc. Make garlic bread or mini pizzas. Toast and Chop into squares for crutons or process them down into crumbs for meatballs.

Hey Laura how are you ? Don't listen to rude people they need to get a life. You feed your family how ever you want. You're a good mom we can all see that, I just went to a once a month food pantry my friend ask me to go with her and while we were there a lady ask me about my income i told her i was on SS and she ask me to take alot of the food because it was Friday and whatever was left was going in the trash. They gave me 10 banana boxes full of food. I'm glad i went, it is going to save me so much money at the store. So you do what's best for your family and screw the hateful people.

I keep packets of True lime and True lemon on hand in case I need those juices for recipes. I also take some with me in my purse. Put 1 packet and sweetener in a glass of water , instant limeade or lemonade.

Love you my friend ❤ people need to spend their time doing other things. I personally know this sweet lady she is a very good friend of mine you have know idea the things she does for other people who are in need so when you make a comment about her make sure you have the fax please. She is a beautiful mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend thank you.

That is a great haul!! Wow and I love how thankful you are❤ I myself go to pantries when I can and I always am thankful too for the hand up, the food will be thrown away if not used, I don’t understand the mean comments and obviously that person didn’t know you cause you have a heart of gold, making lasagna for people that needs them, picking up older ladies in rain etc the list goes on❤ I think your the best! Big heart, very intelligent, funny, beautiful inside and out!!! You and Amber made a friend for life with me! ❤

so good to see you. what a great supply of foods! sorry who ever it was made that comment. evidently, only upper middle class and rich people should be breeding, eh? wow. my son drank goats milk after finding out he wasn't doing well on formulas. he was old enough to make the transition then. our pediatrician said we would have to put him on steroids so i went to an allergist - she took one look at him and said he is allergic to cows milk. what a change when we switched. he didn't have colic and slept very well. changed pediatricians then too. tell your mom hello from me in the BIG VALLEY. have a good sunday. i hope the surgery goes well tomorrow.

really someone said you should not have children until you can afford it them. I would say most of us born would not be here . lol No judgement from this old lady. No one lives perfect life we never what's in shore for us good times or hard times.
