Due to covid19 I came back to Korea but I still miss Malaysia so much🥲 Recently, I really really really want to eat Roti Canai and Nasi Goreng again, but I don't have much chance to eat Malaysia food over here. Malaysia has so many different type of laksa depending on the state but i personally like Laksa Kedah and Curry Laksa, btw in Johor they actually have Laksa Johor which uses spaghetti with thick fish curry gravy .. i guess there are soo many unique dishes in Malaysia as well as in Korea.. the best dishes are mostly found at the local eateries/market.. Koreans could try the Malaysian mixed rice dish (nasi berlauk) or the banana leaves rice for a change, for me these really represents the variety of different types of seafood, meat and vegetable dishes often cooked in Malaysian homes (some good eateris offers up to 40 type of dishes and do come for lunch as early as 11am cause the crowd will be huge)

but still homogeneous society is much better than hetero like us bcuz there's no authentic unity in diversity. only by all minorities non-natives absords the dominant native culture then only the equality n true unity come in like in Thailand and Indonesia. Freedom comes with a price and the immigrant ancestors has to pay the bitter full price for their future gens to get treated equally sincerely not just mere mimic n inconsistent rhetoric like how we r today. we do unite sometimes as human beings but as a true Malaysian society? I would say no perhaps will never. Thai natives the Siam people force assimilate the Thai Chinese but not to Thai Malays bcuz Thai Malays r one of their natives like Asli or East Malaysian natives for the Malays.

Cucur udang in there is too puffed up. And you should try it with peanut gravy. I think that is what the kelantanese usually ate. When they said "Malaysian", they meant "kelantanese". You should try northern style, where its filled with sprout, chives, onion, and of course shrimp. Not the puffed up version.
