No those are called *chanachur* it's like crispy crackers made with lentils so they are shaped this way as they are shaped like noodles and then fried. So it's not maggots but a vegetarian food.

"Ghoti Gram" is basically a Bengali word. In Bangladesh it's the food that known as *Ghoti Garam* it's a noun. *GHOTI* means "box" in Bengali (translation) and *Garam* means 'heat" as you can see in the video the man heats up that metal pot and that pot heats up the crackers *chanachur* underneath. It's a very tasty vegetarian cuisine. It's a street food and in Bangladesh almost every person have this everyday as a snack.
