A contagious spirit of gratitude and thankfulness was felt by all at Long Beach Rescue Mission this past Saturday!
As Jesus asks us to “love one another” it was truly reflected through a harvest themed “shopping experience” provided to our neighborhood families and community. Over 300 families were blessed with essential food items to prepare a homecooked Thanksgiving meal - the gratitude was overflowing!
It is in these moments of serving; the love of Jesus fills our hearts knowing this year so many families will have a warm and comforting Thanksgiving meal.
We give thanks to the many organizations, churches, schools, donors, individuals, and volunteers who gave so generously to this food drive. Your partnership brought joy to so many. God bless you with a beautiful Thanksgiving!
