The dishes look delicious. And I like the fact that vegetables are used instead of meat. The only con is using frying as the main cooking method.

This food looks delicious! I would definitely eat here but there’s nothing healthy about deep-fried and there’s nothing wrong with soy. I Suggest following Chef AJ, Dr. McDougall, Dr. Neil Bernard these are all vegan doctors that will give you some great tips and what is actually healthy.

@ it WAS’nt for me & many females because of TOO much estrogen! The fibroid pain was worse than labor. I digest that it’s WHOLE organic edamame. Currently, at almost 61yo MAYbe I can reintroduce into my lifestyle however, I don’t NEED the ingredient at the moment….

@@bonitabonita3431 there’s actually more estrogen in cow milk and cheese, then there is in soy milk. That’s just a hyperinflated myth that the Internet has taken and ran with. If you want the actual facts on that look up Dr. McGregor from physicians for responsible medicine.

EVERYTHING Candace made looks insane yummy! But Please STOP calling food/culture that came from enslaved West Africans "Southern". Before USA was a country the enslaved Africans made up the majority of the population in the South. And they brought many things from West African culture that USA calls "American" . This "American" label was done by design and intention with the sole purpose to remove the rich history and contributions made by people who USA could not and would not recognize as full human beings because the Europeans settlers had done such terrible atrocities against them for centuries in the USA. Africans literally built the USA. There would be no All American food like peanut butter and jelly without the W Africans as they introduced -peanuts to USA. Including collard greens, hot peppers, hot sauce, okra ( aka gumbo), rice, a "Po Boy" sandwhich got the name because it was slaves that created much of the food that Americans have been trained to call " Southern". And the most lucrative creation of them all- Fried Chicken, (The English, French, Spanish ), did not have a tradition of deep frying chicken. Europeans went to African Middle East , and Asian for spices. There was little variety of spices in Europe by comparison to Africa. It always makes me wonder if Col Sanders took his "11 herbs and spices recipe " from a African Woman who cooked all of his meals in Kentucky. He became a legend "she" not only didn't get a dime , but she was never acknowledged. And don't even get me started on "Peri Peri" chicken chain which claims "their" chicken comes from traditional reciepes from Portugal. The word "Peri" comes from the South African Igbo language.

@@scorpionsting8174Thank you! Let's spread the word about the long standing American agenda and policy to remove African American Culture from the Africans who created, designed and honed so much of what is labeled " Pop Culture" or "American Culture" .The French did not "create Jazz"- yet Western music historians tell the world just that.

Seems to be the trend of restaurants nowadays to fry just about every food item on the menu and as long as there’s no meat used they can call it “vegan.”Never mind that vegan is not only a diet devoid of meat, but tantamount to healthy eating-of which fried food is squarely not.

Frying in any kind of oil is unhealthy, no!? But I think you are missing the point! You seem to want to just pick out every little thing you find unacceptable just because she’s calling it vegan. Stop being ridiculous and let people have this. Plus no one is forcing you to eat at this place or even be vegan! Eat a banana 🍌and chill! Oh wait is there something wrong with bananas too!? Too vegan for you 😂😂😂… 😐 best

Okey 🙄🙄🙄… Here’s my story! Went on a rd trip to Louisiana, I was 18 yrs old. Ate way too many steaks and road trip crap. Someone had made a bet with me that I could not be vegetarian not even for 2 months. Never met that person again, but yup been veg head since then! It’s been 30 yrs! Never tried to eat a steak again and my colon loves me for that 😂😂😂… 🌱✌️

But anyway no one had asked!? Plus assuming you do eat vegetables, which is naturally vegan ya know. So why tell such a dumb story here!? It’s like me telling you out of the blue I’m vegan!? Don’t vegans get accused of what you are doing all the time!? It seems it’s people like you who make blank dumb statements just to be a hole! Let this person have this! Seems that’s it’s a great restaurant too! Perhaps instead of being so narrow minded, perhaps you should give the place a try. Don’t worry stranger you can still have your salmon later… 😐🙄 best

Vegan food isn’t always healthy and this proves that. I hope people are smart enough to know that. She went to school for medicine? Then she’s deliberately lying about going to school for medicine or lying to her customers about the food being healthy. One of the two. Lying to people saying this is healthy shouldn’t be allowed. You can’t sell food products and make false claims. The same should be true of restaurants.
