Generally binging and purging cycles are VERY unhealthy but are also the exact kind of behaviors diet culture loves to foster. Sticking to a rigid diet that sucks to maintain for a week or two, only to go back to binging and feeling ashamed for failure keeps people coming back to these diets that will hopefully fix this as quickly as possible. I've never heard of this girl before and maybe people who know the situation better can say that she's not a very nice person, says hateful bigoted things etc. But I mean as far as it seems from this the only thing she's done wrong is cheat on a boyfriend and probably oversharing some personal things from those relationships that maybe she shouldn't have. I don't really think people deserve for their struggles with their health and committing to diets to be called controversies because that whole journey is a very complicated thing and no one is perfect. I think people have the right to start a diet, try it for a while, maybe not even that long and realize it's not for them. You know, like... a lot of your takes I typically agree with, but ones like these are harder to swallow. It's clear you have serious biases you might not be aware of, because this video is oddly short-sighted and mean-spirited. There's a place for commentary channels, but the argument of "they know what we're going to say and they put it out there anyway so it's their fault"ish bent leaves a bad taste in my mouth. from what ive gathered about her from this video is that the mistakes shes making are mostly detrimental to herself. bit weird to call it problematic as these seem like decisions that negatively affect only her not anyone else especially her viewers. she clearly has a very difficult relationship with food which is honestly a very legit struggle.
