I was/still am a huge fan of Dan and Phil but I’m so glad never once did I act like a demon Phannie. I’m 26 so in the older age group of current fans but I remember clear as day the “video” leak as does my wife. I just remember seeing the video and instantly feeling terrible at myself. Not for anything in the video but because I clearly just invaded someone’s privacy BAD. which is why I never expressed online anything about wanting my Phan fantasy to be real. Even now. I used to employ a management company for my music, and while I was with them Piper Rockelle actually also started using them for her music. I never met her, but the management team I was with was very controlling. It wouldn't surprise me that her mom would keep her with that team.

Child bride vibes. Yes exactly. It’s weird but we really didn’t see him have any expressed feelings or opinions until she is revealed to be Lady Whistledown. But what is his motivation for stealing her away from Lord Debling? He never really says. So we can only assume it’s because he saw her with Lord Debling and got jealous in the same way a kid gets jealous of someone else playing with a different toy. There’s no depth to it. Even a flashback to a previous season where he remembers something he liked about her would have been good. Instead it’s just Penelope declaring her love and him nodding and agreeing. It is icky.

It wasn't a good idea that they switch the order of the couples (the third book if I'm not mistaken was suppose to be Benedict's) as I feel like the first 2 seasons didn't give us enough developement/moments between Penelope and Colin (as well as improve on his adapted character especially when his book counterpart was bad as well) to be fully realized on the third season as a couple. They lack so much scenes together being best friends? (e.g. there wasn't any friendship flashbacks) that I even started shipping Penelope more with Eloise even after their tiff at the end of season 2 🤣 So season 3 would be good spacing for them all to be apart from one another (Penelope away from the Brigerton siblings) to work on themselves first before reunion/reconcilitation 😅 (and please not just have Collin mention his travels... show it). It would make more sense if this season we finally get to Benedict because he's already shown more than enough developement throughout the first two seasons... but instead they regressed him to the point he doesn't even care for art?? 😵‍💫 I don't mind Francesca's and John's love story as a B-side plot (except for the ending with Michaela), but they do end up outshining the main couple because Pen's & Colin's felt forced and rushed, especially with the marriages. 😢 Cressida was suprisingly interesting though this season! 😲 Maybe it would be an interesting turn of events if in the future she ended up with Lord Debling (whom disappeared into thin air 😭) hahaha 🙌

I grew up in an extremely evangelical church.. so much guilt and brain washing.. luckily I got out when I went to college, I realized how toxic the church was. All that to say, the “healing” from the church is extremely ableist- who’s to say someone being autistic, blind, in a wheelchair is a bad thing and they want to be healed? I was the prime age and demographic at the time when musically had its day in the sun and I was obsessed with piper. Gradually as I got older the content being made wasn’t for me but she was obviously a big part of my early internet exploration along with many other people my age so when all this stuff started to come into light I was genuinely so shocked to see how many of my peers and those older just out right shaming her. Every one of her post without fail has jokes about her starting an of account or how she is a bad image for her young audience when it is so blatantly obvious that she has essentially no control over her own life. Seeing people grow up with the content she’s being exploited in to then shaming her when the inevitable affects of the toxic environment she’s in happen. Its the same story we’ve heard of child actors and performers since the beginning of Hollywoods inception and it’s so sad to see the same cycles of abuse and toxicity.

Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. Cause every time I provide a critique it’s assumed I’m a polin hater. Like you could still love someone and still express some sort of criticism. As humans we are flawed no one is perfect. That’s why I was so disappointed with this season. Polin is my favorite Bridgerton couple and them not really investing in their relationship really annoyed me. They’re childhood friends, best friends but I didn’t see that enough. Only a few moments like in the willow scene of them just laughing together at little jokes they shared. That was cute 🥰 but everything else was flat. I like Mondrichs, especially their involvement with the Featherington plot line. So I was looking forward to Colin sort of replaying back Mondrich for his help. But we didn’t even see that! The only moment was him snubbing his gentlemen “friends” when they told them to ditch the ball and go drinking at whites. It was such a let down. Colin wasn’t as developed as other leading characters. You’re suppose to sort of forgive and understand the character more during their season. But I don’t think he even knew who he was cause they kept changing him to someone he wasn’t.

A lot of times, people will feel things for others and may not realize it until much later, and I have found that this is especially true for people questioning their sexuality. I just believe that he didn't realize before then-- maybe he just thought he was so intrigued by his art buddy from season 1 because he had never actually met someone who was (somewhat) openly homosexual. Alternatively, he had noticed he had some sort of feelings for other men, but had written them off as something else thus he had not actually considered the possibility of being into men.
