RICE IDLI
The idlis are soft and a hot, buttery treat when had with the ghee. The coriander in the idli adds to its flavour. The idli dissolves in the mouth when immersed in the nourishingly thick sambar.

The vada exhibits a textbook crunch as it yields to the bite! Delicious with the sambar and comes alive with the spicy kick of the chutney.

Just observed that every single time, he uses the word "dose" And not "dosa" (Which is commonly used in English) and "rave idli" Instead of "rava idli" And "vade" Instead of "vada". Happy to notice you taking care of these little things and making it a point to converse in kannada.

I am a Rajasthani born in Bangalore tried all types of breakfast from North India but ....... Nothing in the world comes close to a classic South Indian breakfast . Soul salvation happens when that sambar dipped rice idli hits the tongue ..

@krantiraj . Andhra food is probably available on Andhra and parts of South. Udupi food spreads across the country even in UP, Jharkhand and eastern part of India. Which is tastier is every individuals preference. cheers man

Visit Chennai and you will observe soo many variations in breakfast as well as lunch with varieties of authentic tamilnadu items like poriyal, kuttu, vatha kolambu, thovayil, rasam and paruppu. During breakfast you will find vadacurry with dosa and poori, idiyappam with coconut milk, aapam with kurma, puttu which was originally originated from tamilnadu, bonda, vadai, ven pongal with kadala chutney, sweet pongal, upma with kesari and varieties of halwa and more. We Indians are blessed to have soo many food varieties across our country especially i love South Indian breakfast, lunch and dinner with the kothu parota, salna

My dear friends...the way MTR masala dosas are folded in an triangular shape is to avoid sogginess to keep dosas crisp as this shape will eliminate steam outside and 95% of dosa will remain crisp for a longer time. ~~~Pilot Cum Chef~~~ ;););)

I had the opportunity of visiting this iconic establishment a couple of times, way back in 1985 or so. I still remember the quality and unique taste of the breakfast I had even after all these years. MTR’s reputation is fully justified. When you happen to visit our Hyderabad city next time, I want you to visit Taj Mahal Hotel, Abids, truly a pride of Hyderabad, similar to the MTR of Namma Bengaluru. Taj Mahal Hotel over 70 years old and the dishes they serve have still the same taste and consistency which I had experienced when I ate there first in 1971. And when you visit, don’t miss on their masala dosa (it’s dosa in Hyderabad and not dose), rava dosa, poori and particularly the korma that goes with it and veg. Cutlet. Happy eating.

Legendary Kannada actor Dr.Rajkumar used to visit this almost once atleast in a month r 2. Many celebrities,biggies visited it n had food..mouth publicity helped it alot. Few years back they sold their brand n started mayyas...very clever enterpreneurs

I just started watching your videos from yesterday and it already made me addicted to watch your videos. Whenever I see you eating it makes me feel jealous 😡😡😡 and makes me feel hungry 🤤🤤🤤. I wish if I was as lucky as you to try different foods and restaurants everyday. But your videos make me miss India a lot and the yummy food which I cannot get for thousands of Miles from the city where I leave 😢😢😢

The color in the upma/ kara bath comes from adding TURMERIC.. I make the exact same thing @ home using mtr sambar masala(which gives it the unique trademark taste) & turmeric powder..

All dishes here are fat heavy (ghee). I had to skip my lunch because I ate masala dosa and khara bath and didn't get hungry till night.

Nice show..doesnt matter how he pronounces words as long as he has the aptitude to learn.. Mtr is great name in Bangalore and deserves respect. Prononciation is definitely better than our non south indian folks saying Doh-sa🥺😃

Just wanted to mention that I heard you say at 23:20 that the Masale Dosa never fails to disappoint.(I think you could have meant that "it never fails to impress". At 3.30 mins, the staff tells Soda...kripal hears and skips... I had been here last Sunday, a very huge crowd of almost 150 people waiting. The staff were very helpful and polite in spite of all the huge crowd. The food was superb and delicious, the food was costly compared to Vidyarthi bhavan in Gandhi Bazaar.

Well video n explanation is awesome as always by kripal sir . Went through all the comments nun spoke about the price datz mentioned in the video I think everyone owns a tech park in Bangalore n gets crores of rent .Yup it's v .v costly 60 for rava idly 40 for vada n 90 for masale dose....Not pocket friendly at all....U find so many old n pocket Friendly lip smacking tiffin places in Bangalore this is just a BRAND
